I curated fabric scraps from my stash to represent the rich golds and deep reds seen in India. Creating a soothing gradient using only prints and then engineering the seaming to use every block as a whole was challenging, yet satisfactory.
Finished with no show facing and with a hanging sleeve that can be used to hang it on the wall (You would need a rod or a yardstick would work too).
Materials: Cotton with Cotton/poly batting
Care: Gentle vacuum to remove dust. Can also be washed on gentle cycle, tumble dry low. On receiving the quilt, the wrinkles/folds can be removed by steaming.
Dimensions: 54”x47”
This quilt was accepted at the Pacific Northwest Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival 2024
