As an artist, I am always fascinated with color and how the same color changes with what surrounds it. Starting with simple traditional blocks studying the color shifts this quilt slowly transformed into a play of color, value and shape. The felted pieces were dyed from raw wool and felted into these flowers.
Finished with a binding and with a hanging sleeve that can be used to hang it on the wall (You would need a rod or a yardstick would work too).
Materials: Cotton with Cotton/poly batting
Care: Gentle vacuum to remove dust. On receiving the quilt, the wrinkles/folds can be removed by steaming.
